Provides financial advice to FirstMerit customers as well as provides FirstMerit with referrals from relationships developed outside of the Bank by successfully selling financial products in a bank environment. Meets production and referral goals. Develops partnerships with branch and platform personnel. Conducts training of branch employees. Establishes and maintains high standards for leadership and customer service. Completes continuing education requirements.
TYPICALLY REQUIRES:
Bachelors Degree and 4-6 years of related business experience with a minimum of 2 years sales experience or the equivalent. Time management skills, detail oriented ability to handle pressure and excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Demonstrated track record of sales success.
Must have a Series 7 Security License; state equivalent of 63/65 or 66 Advisory License and life, health and variable annuity license.
